Even at 57, Tyson would legitimately kill Paul. Unfortunately, I don’t think the suits at Netflix are going to allow that to happen.

i dont even know anymore... on paper, tyson should be able to take care of paul with ease.... but tyson is also pushing close to 60... if tyson cant hurt paul then it's gonna be a long night for tyson. let's hope mike dont have any flash back to the holyfield fight...

You know absolutely nothing about anything. Tyson was OBVIOUSLY/BLATANTLY doing everything NOT to KO Roy because he could tell how bad he was. He was throwing body shots for half the fight because he didn't want to hurt Roy. You're incredibly bad at objectively analyzing things.

to me, it looks like roy was the one holding back.

i don't even think Mike was heavy handed as a boxer in his prime. he was super fast with his punch. he wasn't like a Foreman or Zhang who can carry that 1 punch power into old age. they are more heavy handed.

he couldn't KO the glassiest of glass jaws in Roy Jones Jr.


Jake will bash Tyson

Tyson was super fast, and a very underrated boxer in his early 20's, his prime. Had great head movement and excellent feet, and great ring IQ. He had massive power in both hands. People like to say that he beat guys with fear, and there is some truth to that. But the fear was there because he hit guys so hard that that they were knocked senseless. He had uncanny power.

Tyson ran through the division and destroyed everyone. And people will say that his comp was just bad. He beat top 10 fighters easily, mauled them. They were good fighters, he was a phenom.

Tyson was done after D Amato died, because according to those around at that time, D Amato kept him focused, living clean, and he was like a dad to Tyson. When Cus died, Tyson had enough talent to keep winning, but his training fell off, he had hanger ons, he believed his own hype. I specifically remember reading when I was a kid that Tyson was knocked down three times in sparring pre Douglas fight, and I told my dad he was going to lose.

Had D Amato lived, Tyson likely would have retired as champ and up there with Ali and SRR. He was messed up mentally after Cus was gone.
