Hopkins has a good point, I kinda felt that same way when I saw Mayweather talking about being a gorilla. I know Hopkins has made racial comments and looked like a fool when he couldnt back them up. But at least he had more sense than to compare himself to a ****ing gorilla.

Truthfully, I also cringed when Floyd said that Silver Back Gorilla stuff. I said that he shouldnt say that because alot of white people already see blacks as Monkeys and stuff so Im down with Hopkins on that one

Its not just that. Its the fact that you are refering to yourself as something less than a human. Actually, one of my favorite put downs is to call someone "monkey" but I think you have to say things at the right time and in the right context. IDK if Floyd did that in this case. I feel just like Hopkins. I can see how alot of people laughed about it but I can also see how people get offended. Just because Nard has had previous indiscretions himself doesn't make his point any less valid.

Nard earned the right to do so by coming up hard and fighting the establishment in the tradition of the civil rights movement.

IDK why you are trying to act like we have no history in this Country. There are alot of negative things that come with the word Ape, Monkey, Gorilla, and so on. A Lion is known for heart.
