He didn't ko him. He punched him at the break and was rightfuly disqualified. Dariusz kicked his ass in the rematch. I'm sorry, but I don't take it seriously that you Americans think Dariusz was "nothing special". Your criterias and objectivity on this matter are very feeble and shallow.

you mean he was getting absolutely dominated and found a way out through cheating. plus it wasn't on the break darius was trying to clinch and rocky had both hands free he should be allowed to punch. but then again it's in germany. another sven ottke.

Michael Nunn and Chris Eubank were the only real threats to Jones back then. I'm surprised that Eubank said he wouldn't even attempt a fight with Jones

I think Roy would have beaten Benn easily, but I doubt he wanted to risk it at the time.

Benn wasn't scared of anyone so I don't think it was his fault the fight wasn't made

Because there were still bin-men and road sweepers for Roy to take care of?

Depends what you class a special, Daruisz wasn't special atleast not by my standards. He was a world class good fighter.

A Special fighter is someone like Mayweather, Jones, Leonard, Duran, Robinson, Mosley, Hearns, Ali, Pep, Monzon etc.

In that aspect Dariusz was most definately not a special fighter.

Nunn would have given Jones hell in they're prime due to his attributes IMO.

Benn would have given a fight but I think Roy beats him 3 ouf of 3.

The rematch came four years later, when Rochigianni was a shell of what he once was.
