Munguia is terrible. He was tailor made for Canelo when he was 23, and he hasn't changed since then. Trash defense brawler whose technique is nowhere close to Canelo's level.

I hope PBC got Canelo's signature for Benavidez fight in return for this mismatch.

The Benavidez fight isn't happening. Canelo has said he isn't moving up to 175 ever again.

David isn't leaving 168 for good. Hes already talked about this.

Supposedly WBC guy is gonna mandate David soon for Canelo so Canelo will either be fighting him or gifting him a belt. Obviously I wouldn't hold my breath on what the WBC guy says, but the last thing I've heard him say is thats still a go despite David going up to 175 for one fight. And I tend to put some trust in WBC guy looking out for David cuz David has the potential to be the next Canelo getting paid 8 digits a fight & the only loyalty I think belt group guys have is to maximizing the 3% of purses that they take. And Canelo only has so many more 8 digit paydays left.
