I think that Canelo will and can beat him but it would to be tough. Benavidez is hittable and Canelo can work that body until Benavidez can't take anymore. Him dodging him is a pure sign of laziness. I don't think that Canelo is afraid of him per se but rather he knows that it's going to be tough. I doubt the Berlanga fights goes 7 rounds. As a fan of the sport and the technical side--I am not sure where this idea that Canelo would have no chance against Benavidez comes from. Benavidez' style seems to play right into Canelo's strength. It doesn't make any sense to think that Benavidez would destroy him.

I don't think they're sure. Some are but for the most part, REAL boxing fans want to see the best fight the best in every division. So this would be one of those fights...the UNDISPUTED champ vs the #1 contender

Benny a Young, big scary lion. That's what people base it on. A bit like foreman was a big scary lion against Ali. Of course if Nell wins, people will say was silly to underestimate nelo

I want to see the fight, mainly to laugh at the morons that think Benavidez beats Canelo. Benavidez is a walking punching bag, he was getting sliced up by Plant and bum ass Andrade early on.

I'm with you, that's why I think canelo is a shameless bully, he doesn't want to take the most minimum risk.

Canelo always had questionable stamina and he still does, but he’s learned to fight at his own pace.

Benavidez wouldn’t allow him to take breathers though. He wouldnt let Canelo stop and pose and sht. It would be a bad idea for him to lean against the ropes as he often does because that’s where Benavidez would shine.

Canelo should have faced him much earlier because at this stage, Benavidez has the clear advantage. He is bigger and younger with more momentum on his side. On top of that, he is way too busy for Canelo.

It’s a bad style matchup which is why Canelo isnt eager to face him.

                  Lets see. Benavidez is

                  Much Bigger
                  Faster
                  Much better gas tank
                  High Volume
                  Hard hitter
                  skilled
                  aggressive relentless
                  durable

If you can't work out why he is ducking him, you need to go back to School.
