Its hard to say whos bigger than who rn tbh. Canelo for sure was the biggest name in the game at one point but AJ is up there too still & Tank with that 1.2M ppv number is up there too now.

What makes you say AJ is bigger? Where would you rank Tank?

      LMFAO

Why dontyou tell us what you’ve accomplished
I’m sure we’d all be very entertained
      Now please go away loser
Canelo is a coward, he threatened a 5'5 football player that weighs 140 pounds. Any bully that preys on the weak is a coward, I'm sorry. You could be a multi-billionaire and still be a coward, has nothing to do with accomplishments. Get some life experience and morals.

Bet he won't go see David Benavidez though. His biggest nightmare!

        Robert Guerrero
        Victor Ortiz
        Hatton

All younger and I can keep going.
Berto, Guerrero, Ortiz are Yldrim level

Hatton is on the level of those “Euro stiffs” Gayweather fans complain about Canelo fighting

Maidana is on the level of Plant.

but keep going, I can nitpick all day too.

          Name them.

I think you're just accustomed to following a familiar formula with these sorts of discussions and don't like being challenged. It's quite tedious to be honest.

(*I'm using the word "hater" in the modern colloquial sense, i.e. an opinion I disagree with.)

I already explained to you my reasons for not liking Floyd. He got away with a lot of fouling due to his status, being American and always fighting in the US with an American referee.

I found his "retirements" and spells of inactivity to be cynical and quite obviously contributed to his ability to remain undefeated. It's no coincidence in this era of low activity we are seeing more undefeated fighters (who happen mostly to be American).

I'm not onboard with this idea of him being a master boxer. A great athlete, sure. But his henpecking victories were not only boring to watch but there's a good chance he got too much credit for it from judges, again owing to his status and the location of all of his fights.

Lastly, he got far too much attention owing to him being American and English being his first language. He was permitted much airtime to simply talk about how great he was rather than just show it. This is a general problem that persists in boxing to this day: being American and English speaking means you've already got a huge advantage over most other boxers. Which is what allows cretins like Jake Paul and Ryan Garcia to become multimillionaires and dominate boxing media.
Not sure how a Canelo thread turned into an entire paragraph about Floyd. You can discredit all you want, call him 'boring', 'henpecking victories', 'spoke about himself too much' - but in the past 30 years, 3 decades - nobody has surpassed Floyd and in another 30 years it's probably unlikely too, just the reality of things.

Sounds like greatness. Even Canelo with all his catchweight, rehydration clauses and advantages is unable to match the legacy of even an Oscar De La Hoya. You guy's contribute to keeping Floyd's name relevant.

Indeed. LOL at canelo fans trying to normalise it, but can't mention ATG's from the past that have any similar stats. **** is actually quite sad.

My primary complaint isn't age it's quality, I was just throwing that statistic out there as it's alarming. Why wouldn't I object to Canelo fighting a guy that got a gift over a 40 year old Derevychenko & a C level Dennis Hogan?

Nobody's gonna point out that Bivol is younger than Canelo so the whole premise is, at least from this point, wrong?

McGregor lmao, joke of a fight
Berto, Ortiz, Hatton, Guerrero, Maidana, see my post above.
                      Canelo, green, weight drained
Pacquiao, bum shoulder, been through wars, Gayweather ducked him for 5 years. Fight made too late
Cotto, Margarito and Pacquiao had already defeated him by KO, still managed to bust up Gayweather pretty good.

those the 8? lol. Gayweather’s Showtime fights were all garbage.
