He is following Mayweather`s blueprint: never fight young fighters.

Mosley, Khan, Cotto are "big names", but they were all past their prime and he fought them at heigher weight that their prime was.

Grow some balls and when you get your own opinion ( instead of playing off someone else’s thinking ) you can get back to me

        Another troubling Nelo statistic....

Can't find a present day fighter with a better 10 fight run
Definitely none of these boogeymen that everyone seems to love

People have mentioned Pac and May, though

Canelo is 33 years old and turned pro as a teenager: he's been one of the youngest guys around for a very long time. It's only recently that he's becoming the "old" guy who's being hunted by the young. The problem is that the young guns aren't fighting each other. I'm sure if you went through the resumes of the SMW contenders, you'd find that they're fighting guys older than them too.

Aside from that, most of the ATG'S have fought a range of younger fighters at world level - something Canelo has failed to do, which is worth pointing out. If this isn't true, name some ATG's that haven't? or fighters younger than them that were Yildirim or Plant level?
Every ATG has Yildirim level guys on their resume, the ages have no meaning they don't select who they going to fight by age, it just goes along with the rest of the givens, its doesn't mean anything outside of what they are as a fighter at that time, fans are always trying to connect dots that to guys that know boxing means nothing more than coincidence, but to other fans it sounds like an advantage or disadvantage because they don't know any better, if it sounds good to them or fots their agenda they swallow and repeat it, its the way BS travels, everybody is trying to sell a narrative and 99% of it is BS that means nothing in the context of a fighter being good or bad, its just fan BS.

So much BS, Floyd was the same prime they were from the same era and he came from 130, he beat Canelo at 37 yrs old, he was older than Manny, why do you idiots just go blah blah without even checking what your saying.

Would you like to apply this criteria to a whole bunch of the best guys in history and you will be in for a big shock, but that don't matter its just another hate fart that will be gone tomorrow.

There should be some type of regulation to put a cap on the funds the ABC orgs get from fighters, when its unlimited and based on purse percentage it creates a massive conflict of interest.
The WBA and WBO do have a cap. The IBF does in every division except heavyweight for some reason. Only the WBC doesn't have one at all.

There are several things needed to bring these bodies in to line. We saw how the WBA partially fell into line when the Association of Boxing Commissions threatened to withdraw their recognition and is what led to the "title reduction plan".

I would personally like to see mandatory challengers start suing to have their position enforced. An outside force needs to investigate them too. Too many people within boxing tolerate the corruption because they believe it will eventually benefit them.
