first he wouldnt fight morales in the rematch at 135..after he lost to raheem..he didnt wanna fight raheem and made morales drain himself back to 130
mab..he beat the past prime fighter convincingly the first time yet rematched him again]
then he makes oscar larios who just got ko'd by izzy at 122 jump 2 divisions and fight him at 130
then he fights a past prime weight drained oscar de la hoya
Raheem came off a lackluster performance against another fighter.
Barrera was not past prime the first time, second time yes i agree.
Larios was a tune-up.
Pacquiao was coming up two weight classes and was underdog against De La Hoya. Whatever excuses were said after the fight does not change the fat that De La Hoya was favored to win and 85-90% of the boxing public thought that De La Hoya was going to win.Comment

Cotto lost to Margarito, arguably lost to Clottey.Quintana,Malignaggi, etc are not great fighters unlike those guys.
At the time there were people picking Morales to win the rubbermatch aswell as Barrera in the rematch.Comment

Pac has the names, but Migs has the games,
Barrera (HoF) is a better name than Clottey. But the second barrera fight is useless. The third morales fight was unnecessary. Clottey was a more formidable opponent than barrera was in Pac-MAB 2.
The Judah that Cotto beat would have KO'd the Delahoya that Pac beat.
It isn't just about the names...but what those guys were capable of at that point.
I take Miguel.
Pac does not have a clear victory over an elite fighter in the past four years. If you disagre with this statement, i invite you to provide me with the dissent.Comment

Manny stayed at 130 for another 2 years after beating morales in it for antoher 2x. He didnt make morales do anything, he simply stayed at teh same weight they fought at. If Manny went to 135, it wouldve been erik MAKING Manny jump up a division.first he wouldnt fight morales in the rematch at 135..after he lost to raheem..he didnt wanna fight raheem and made morales drain himself back to 130

Larios was nothing more than a stay busy fight and a showcase fight for him in the phillipines while he worked out his contract mess with top rank and GBP.
ODLH made Manny jump up 12lbs, 17lbs if you count the entire year. Something he excelled at, and is now fighting Cotto. we can easily pick apart your boy if we want.Comment
