    Pac/Cotto surpasses May/JMM PPV sales y/n?

And if so, does that mean Pac gets more leverage as far who gets the bigger part of the share? 55/45 or maybe even 60/40 against Floyd? GRANTED, Pac wins of course, but if not and Cotto wins instead does this theory apply to him just the same or does Floyd still get the bigger share.

I want to say that this fight won't do more than 1.2 mil, but the anticipation for this fight is through the roof.

Floyd outsold Manny with 3 common opponents, I think 60/40 Floyd, if Pacquiao/Cotto does 1.5 then 50/50

Cotto doesn't deserve the bigger slice whatever happens, Casual fans love Manny not Cotto

No, one fight doesnt give you leverage, look at the body of work, Floyd trumps Pac, did Pac do 1 million with Marquez, no. Based on numbers Pac should get no better than 70/30, 60/40 if he's lucky, might not happen like that but based on past numbers it should.

Regardless of what anybody says, PPV numbers are a big part of our sport

They're important reasons for why fights are made, a fight won't get made if it isn't appealing to the public

so hypocritical ain't it? we all know that if pac/floyd never happens it'll be because they won't be able to agree on the money split. my best guess is that pac/cotto not only do much better ppv sales, but they put up a foty performance. that happens, theres no way ANYONE will be able to stop this from happening.
