  • Canelo's prime ended after GGG 2

He made the mistake of fighting GGG twice. That is just ******.

take your D and move on.

Nobody is the same after fighting GGG. He hits too hard. even if the opponent takes it, there's internal damage being sustained. Kell Brook, he was never the same again. Jacobs was never the same again. Derevy was never the same again. etc

Canelo peaked vs GGG 2. He never moved like that again. He was cat quick in that fight. GGG 2 saw Canelo take a lot of hard hard shots. He was rocked in the 10th.

That was 8lbs lighter, Ive always said his best weight is MW, he probably just doesn't want to do the weight cut, its hard work, and then the 168 division wasn't all that much and Canelo got a big head and went all terminator, he can really fight he did of a lot of his old moves vs Charlo and he looked snappy and mobile which we haven't seen since the GGG fights.

Na, I mean I agree the GGG fight took some life out of him, but what he did to Smith, Plant, and Saunders was dope. All in 11 months to.

GGG's prime ended after kell brook in 2016. He was on a downward decline since then. More people wanted to fight him and are not afraid, arguably lost to jacobs and derevyanchenko, lost to canelo, was getting tagged up by bums like steve rolls. Haha...
Canelo is on a downward decline since the bivol loss, but canelo has done so much more than ggg when he was younger. ggg is a clout chasing liar and a hype job that never delivered.

Yes and no. In GGG 1 and 2 Canelo understood he couldn`t hurt elite fighter and he also understood he had a great chin himself. Therefor he decided to move up with the idea that bigger guys would have been easier to beat. It worked at 168 , because 168 division ****** and guys like Callum Smith, Plant, Saunders were not anywhere near GGG level.

Instead of always obsessing over Eurasian and Asian men, maybe you should do something productive with your life, like getting a woman.
