And what can Matchroom realistically do with him? They don't have much at 135.

Hes only 28. Hes not THAT old. I mean its obviously not ideal for anyone to be a 28 year old prospect, but hes likely to fight for a belt at 29 if he is what he think he is.

He's fought 3 Mexican opponents. Solid guys but nothing spectacular.

What are the fights they get Andy that get him to the title?

Don't make me go look at the bs & corrupt belt rankings for specific names cuz we both know there are always numerous mfers from some random country who are 16-1 (7) who have fought no one & somehow are #3 ranked that could get Andy into a mando spot.

Honestly the easy part is getting him to a belt fight. The hard part is gonna be getting the big names to fight him after he wins one. Unless he starts looking more exploitable he's gonna become like Boots or Subriel where peers don't wanna fight them, only guys well beneath them looking for a check will wanna fight. Thats the part that could go sideways for Andy.

Ideally he becomes a mando for a big nane that isn't looking to move up & vacant by the time Andy is mando. And look there are bad mfers all over 135 so maybe Shakur or Tank will be too much for him, but he'll get his opportunity imo.

I think the best MR can do for him at 135 is make him a mandatory challenger and then potentially get him a title shot/ vacant belt.

I believe he’s ranked by several of the ABC’s atm, I’d try and get him an eliminator as soon as possible.

I can assure you that no Cuban boxer is going to turn down a fight. Who do think he should fight, and is going to accept the fight? You heard him say that a fight with davis is entirely up to him, and you read what davis said.

Andy Cruz, David Morell and Abdullah Mason are the young fighters I am watching

Cruz is special in my view, he will get an opportunity because of his pedigree and Matchroom will make something happen for him, but I don’t think the big names in the division will fight him if they don’t have to

They're going to have to make him mando somehow. Tank, Stevenson, Vaquero and Loma will have the 4 titles soon enough.
