Fight was in Juarez' hometown of Houston. Gonzales was a Texas referee. Constant admonishments towards Raheem for holdin behind the head, which wasn't affectin the action at all. 3 point deductions. Chewin out Raheem in the corner between rds, not even lettin the cornerman do his work. Literally threw Raheem's trainer outta the ring like some WWF **** before the last rd. Even bein dropped twice, Raheem woulda won that fight on points if not for that bias ref. **** made me sick watchin it, especially cuz left to their own devices, the fighters were havin a good, entertainin fight.

Only fight I have seen where a fighter has been warned for punching his opponent too hard in the face.

Ricard Steele. Period. His decision in Chavez vs Tayler fight was just I don't know how to even describe it.

Laurence Cole. I don't like anything he does. JMM vs Jaca fight. "You can quit if you want Juan, your ahead on the cards."

I say Cole. I think a lot of the European Refs were awful in the 90's. Just plain awful. Joe Cortez use to be good. But, now he is pretty bad. Steele was great when he wasn't being the referee of a Don King fighter. But, when he was refeering a King fighter. He was pretty bad.
