yup and unfortunately he will continue to sit for at least 2 more months. like i said these fighters want paydays more than fighting just to fight. Like you said the GGG route or bust for a lot of these fighters.

Just look at Benavidez he was in the same mindset before when he had a title and lost it on the scales now he's desperate to get in there with Canelo and Canelo is holding out. He wouldn't be in that situation if kept himself disciplined and kept his belt.

The same will go for Boots he will learn a lesson that only seems to be taught by experiencing it(because no matter how many time other boxers before them go through it, it doesn't seem to sink in by the new up and coming boxers like Ennis). He will either get Bud and get beat because he wasn't ready and wasn't active enough to be ready or he'll end up taking on a challenger and not be ready due to inactivity and get beat or look like crap/not impress and still not get the fight with Bud later on.

I made a thread related to this, Ennis complaining and claiming in his lawsuit he needs 3-4 fights a year. Which I'm skeptical about. THREE TO FOUR FIGHTS A YEAR. Let that sink in. Show me, in your personal opinion, how he can get 3-4 fights a year when Bozy keeps rejecting fights he doesn't like? If you were his promoter how do you go about making 3-4 fights a year to accomplish his 3-4 fight a year claim?

The question is: "Is it in the contract?" Boots is desperately trying to get out of his contract, especially now that the wife of Cameron Dunkin is in charge! He's lucky he's a Champion with mandos, or he would really be F'd up! He can barely get people to fight him with a belt, much less without a belt!

Bozy Ennis doesn't even want to talk about Benn. Thus, 0 bird, 0 stone, $0.00 payday, 0 activity. Team Ennis is making themselves irrelevant.

I agree with what your are saying but there is a caveat, the powers to be in the background can cause fighters to be frozen, there is so much BS behind the scenes that derails potential fights for all sorts of reasons, was only just watching a Thurman interview where he spoke of 3 fights over the last year that he had signed contracts on and all of them didnt materialize for one reason or another and non was his fault and he talks about the complicated bs within the sport.

I don't know what the story is with Ennis only that he was suing his promotional team so I think that would put a cap on acquiring fights, remember how Ward was derailed for years over the same sort of thing, as fans we get such a distorted view to what really goes on in the back room all we get is story after story in a Ferris Wheel of click bait.
