While there is some interest in a rematch between Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Jr. - not everyone is interested. A few weeks ago, the two fighters reached a deal to fight in the first quarter of 2010. The rematch has taken 16-years to make. Jones won a decision over Hopkins in 1993 to win the vacant IBF middleweight title. Some critics are not happy with the idea of paying $50 dollars to watch two fighters in their 40s battle it out. There are those who don't see the fight as a positive to push the sport forward. [details]

Mr boat buyer gettin loud on Bhop huh? Imagine that.
I really wanted Bhop-Dawson a while back. By this point, I think it's too late. Don't see Bhop bein able to win it. I really wish he woulda gotten a fight sooner instead of waitin a whole yr. And **** the age ****. RJ and Bhop are 2 of my favorites, so I'm still excited to see the rematch.Comment

B-Hop should have never jumped in the ring to verbally attack Floyd for fighting smaller guys. We all know why he shouldn't do that.

I have so been waiting for Floyd to say this. Honestly, I thought about this non stop after the JMM fight when Hopkins was all on Shane's nuts about how Floyd should fight Shane. Floyd is great friends with Dawson and said that Chad was #1 P4P when he retired. Dawson was there in the post fight presser. Floyd brought up his name but I wanted him to throw Hopkins under the bus and say that he should fight him. I bet if anything wouldve broken out, that Dawson wouldve jumped up for Floyd and went after Hopkins. That wouldve been classicComment
