Comments Thread For: Hearn: Berlanga Would Fight Fire With Fire In The 'Ultimate Challenge' Against Canelo

If Canelo faces him it will be another Yildrim fight. Berlanga also has such a small fan base and has no real momentum.

      1. STOP IT with this Berlanga vs Canelo stuff. It would be an abomination.
      2. Does anyone else think that Boxingscene's recent changes is resulting in too many articles? Less articles with better content for folks to discuss seems a bit better than a ton of articles where the good stuff quickly gets buried.

Man. The media has become so watered down. They write about nothing of real substance anymore. It seems to me that they are more about click bait, than actual informing the audience. Can we please get something other than hypothetical nonsense?

Meh, I might watch it if they set berlanga on fire while fighting canelo.

          This talk is beyond ridiculous

The fixation on Canelo borders on mental illness. Every boxer between welterweight and cruiserweight wants a Canelo PAY DAY as do youtubers and MMA types. Then there are the managers, promoters, former champions and weak-minded fathers of boxers who mention Canelo at every opportunity. I understand that the mention of Canelo generates attention and income for many of these folks, but this schtick is getting old. It is time to focus more on the sport itself than on one particular fighter.

Haha pretty much then you get fighters stalling their careers to scared to fight and lose their Canelo ticket.

Morrell Jr smokes this fool time to get Canelo to stop dodging the top threats @168. Hopefully the Saudis put together the money for Morrell vs Mbilli while Canelo will fight berlaga the weakest 168 champ. Then hopefully the winner of Morrell jr vs Mbilli faces Canelo since Benavidez moved up to 175. Smart move stop waiting and well Beterbiev is getting old make the fight in 18 months

This is embarrassing, berlanga has shown the complete opposite in his career that he’d fight Canelo with no fear , he was looking like a scared kitten the first two rds against a journey man

Honestly this is bad for the sport if Hearn is able to get this clown a canelo payday on the back of never facing a top twenty fighter
