Someone please explain to me how Berlanga someway somehow might get to fight Canelo for all the SMW belts, but Benevidez (his mandatory for I lost track of how long now) does not. My postman has been delivering mail for 33 years now, and he has probably done more to earn a Canelo/unified title shot than Berlanga has.

I feel you on this one, and your postman hyperbole is almost not an exaggeration, given the state of the sport. It's frustrating as hell, most def.

Canelo puts him to sleep within 6 rounds. Reminds me of Amir Khan with his chin at a higher weight class. Canelo hits him with one solid shot on the chin or jaw, he starts staggering all over the ring like he did against fringe contenders. Berlanga hits Canelo, and he just keeps coming into the fire for more. 2 different levels of chins.

Boxing has always been about politics. Berlanga should have to beat either Mbilli, Plant, Morrell, or Mungia to even be in the equation. Canelo should fight either Benavidez ,Morrell, or Mbilli in May. Will it happen? Probably not!

berlanga is the new ****e boy with levels of delusion approaching the teo mark i think, im still trying to process that he could be in the running for a canelo fight, not working

Berlanga has undoubtingly improved but he is the weakest link within the top guys. Morell will brutalize him and Mungia will win either way it goes. If I was him, I will continue to develop and learn to see if he can evolve another level unless, he is just looking to cash out.
