I know for a fact that if the fight had happened on the West Coast that the crowd would be pro Ryan. That's not even an opinion

If taxes are the issue then Ryan should just come out and say that.
I don't know if it's the taxes. I believe it's the atmosphere he wants. We know New York is boricua and dominicano. Florida is Cuban and boricua and LA or Vegas is Mexicano. I think he wants the crowd.....

Well he is gonna fill up his pockets
And Haney was the one who said never mention my name again and then ran back cause he knows he ain’t gonna make this kind of money anywhere else

I read in another article that it was said to be in Vegas
Then they decided not to because of over crowding cards
But you’d figure they would consult with the fighters
This could also be a crry from Ryan for no reason whatsoever
Imo , this fight does well in NYC
Folks in the big apple always looking for boxing

Why does Garcia care where the fight is, if confident of victory?

He is good box office no doubt, and credit for having fought Tank.

But he got dominated and ko'd, and Haney is the champion, so have to make concessions.

Obviously, but I'm sure he'd rather not is what I'm saying. Boxers already lose nearly half their money to federal taxes. Losing another 10%+ with all the crazy city & state taxes in NYC is wild. And they are for sure gonna make less at the gate so less pay overall & more taxes making the net pay lower.

Its another dumb decision by GBP altho maybe they are getting some kind of kickback or something from Barclays so while the fighters make less, the promoters walk away with more than they'd make in Vegas so it makes sense to them.

Again tho the main issue isn't even the above to me. Its that they didn't figure this all out BEFORE they stated a venue. The Ryan & Oscar team suck at communicating & both are such divas they probably shouldn't even be working together.

That is true but his fight with Tank sold 1.2 million PPV so this is a HUGE fight.
This fight will triple Haney’s PPV record so clearly Ryan is a much bigger name albeit terrible boxer.
