Nishioka Cracks Hernandez's Jaw To Retain WBC Title

At the Yoyogi #2 Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan, Toshiaki Nishioka (35-4-3, 21KOs) retained the WBC super bantamweight title with a third round stoppage of Ivan "Choko" Hernandez (25-4-1, 15KOs). Nishioka was just impressive. His counter left hand was top notch as he has maintained for years that it is. No only that, he was slick, quick and elusive to lead the fight in his favor. Too bad the fight didn't carry on. Just to add some more info to this article, Nishioka demanded fights with Rafael Marquez, Juan Manuel Lopez and even Celestino Caballero. Now Lopez seems unlikely to meet Caba, Maybe Nishioka is the only option that Caba can take. Let's wait and see what's gonna unfold out of this.
