Reynoso exposes the BS. So benevidez blatantly lied about the 45 million dollar offer. This fight gonna happen eventually. Neither guy will take a risky fight inbetween. If we’re honest..benevidez is actually just as risk averse as canelo he should be fighting morrel Jr they’ve called him out several times and also has a belt in the division. Instead he goes to fight gvozdyz? Dude is 40 and has looked like a shell of his former self since he’s been back fighting overmatched opponents. Canelo might be a cherry picker but at least he got some big names on his resume benevidez”s best opponent isn’t even one of canelos top 5 wins. The bad is blood is building. Fighters today all duck each other it’s sad. Benevidez avoiding morrel Jr. Morrel wants the fight they both PBC…it’s a great fight…why’s he fighting a washed up 40 year old semi retired gvoydzyk? Cause he scared to lose his spot in line. These fighters today are ducking each other it’s not exclusive to canelo. At least canelo has some hof opponents on his resume and multiple champions in multiple weight classes. Bennys best win is plant lol.

Let me make something clear. Benny’s biggest problem is that he has a complete idiot Sampson Lewkowicz, who is his “so called” promoter, and more appropriate, his cheerleader. When you have a dude who’s English is no better than someone coming off the boat from Cuba, what do you expect? I mean honestly, would you hire this dude in your business? Many of these fighters have absolute idiots as managers/promoters. Most of them don’t even have a GED. Fighters like Benny have nobody but themselves to blame for not getting the fights they want because they let idiots represent them who couldn’t even get a job at McDonalds flipping burgers.

Here is the thing straight to the point. Canelo and Reynoso CLAIM canelo is the best 168 pounder in the world. If so then fight benavidez to prove it as he is the number 1 threat and he is so far above all the others at 168 that its not really up for debate that he is the number one challenger. He is also the WBC MANDATORY.


Now if canelo wants to duck him then Reynoso and Canelo need to amend their CLAIMs to "canelo is the unified champion and may or may not still be the best at 168, we wont know until if/when a Benavidez fight happens"

That is also complete bull**** from Reynoso. Canelo is the biggest and most marketable star of boxing and now they are saying they want the fight but just cant figure out how to get the promotion together and are just waiting around for someone to offer it to them. that is complete bull****.

Canelo had no problem negotiating everything to get all the belts together in a year when the competition was weak. He had no problems figuring out how to bring a guy from 154 up to 168 and allow the WBC to still keep that guy's old belt on ice despite not defending it in a years. All kinds of things are possible in boxing.

Canelo has more power than any other person in the entire industry, if he tells his people he wants Benavidez it can be made, contracts signed in a week.

Well, cotto and Mosley were past their prime, ggg was 35+ and definately should have won the first fight, arguably the 2nd too, against Lara he looked like a fish out the water and couldn't cut the ring off, and it was a small ring, charlo was dragged up two divisions and almost two years without fighting. So I don't see that resume full of brilliant wins. And now this blatant duck, it's getting harder to justify his actions.
