I guess since Teddy Atlas says Berlanga has improved since he stopped knocking people out he has.
I don't see much of any improvement. I don't know if Berlanga has the mental capacity to become a boxer with solid fundamentals but good luck to the kid. Maybe he will start showing class in time.

I have not seen it. He looks lost at times and is thinking instead of being instinctive in the ring.

The only improvement I see is the caliber of opposition. That's the reason for the decisions, not Berlanga's improvement!

Teddy didn't say it in some circuitous, rambling, barely coherent analogy? Shocking!

Something like, "You remember that Clint Eastwood movie where he was Good but then the Ugly got the jump on him and walked him across the desert? It's like that but then they put a Rolls Royce Merlin on the P-51 Mustang, and he ended up with the gold because the near death experience in the desert with those Germans swirling overhead gave him the grit to kill the Bad.".

Hahaha Good stuff, man. And, BTW, Cormac was my favorite modern novelist.

Played fight night champions recently, atlas to this day still ruins the game with his ridiculous analogies
