  • Nikolai Valuev: "David Haye, Another Idiot in Boxing"

WBA heavyweight champion Nikolai Valuev remembers the day when he first saw David Haye. Valuev remembers like it was yesterday, when he saw Haye at the press conference to announce the fight with Wladimir Klitschko - later cancelled when Haye withdrew with an injury. Valuev was upset with the infamous t-shirt Haye wore. The infamous t-shirt with an image of Haye holding the severed heads of the Klitschko brothers. Valuev takes on Haye on November 7. [details]

An idiot who will box circles around you and win a decision. But yeah, I agree he is an idiot but he is pretty talented and its going to be embarrassing for Valuev when a former Cruiserweight who was hurt by Cruiserweights wins a lop-sided win over him. That Mormeck fight is still stuck in my head, damn the klits would destroy Haye.

Valuev has no right to call anybody else an idiot.

Still ; Haye is a loudmouth prick who loves to talk the talk, but has yet to walk the walk in the Heavyweight division.

I'm with mangler ; I want to see him stretched, but I'd rather it be Tua or one of the Klits that does the deed.

thats the worst ive ever seen Valeuv though. Its not beyond all possibilities Valeuv held back knowing he was going to win a decision anyway so he didnt hurt the old legend.

Or he really could be that bad. I dunno. Haye should win a UD though. Would love to see the giant fall but cant see it happeneing. If Haye stops him it'll be with Valeuv on his feet or the corner will stop it between rounds.

Don't get me wrong, Valuev was a fairly good fighter at one time but age has not been great to him if he didn't hold back against Holy like some of you believe he did. And holding back was a horrible mistake since alot of us believe Holy won that fight, so if he did hold back just cause holy is an icon in boxing that was his biggest mistake ever. Holy wasn't hurting Valuev with anything, well most opponents don't but he was clearly landing.
