How do y’all rate him and who should he fight next?

Rueben Villa, Arnold Khegai, Carlos castro, Angelo Leo? Step too far ?

I thought he had poor showing yesterday despite a good combination ko. His footwork was terrible and he was stiff, robotic. Based on that performance, I'm not sure how far he rises.

I've neen trending up on him tbh, but he still feels more hype than substance to me. Altho I do tend to be biased against 26yr old prospects. They are upping his trajectory more rn tho so he maybe in a more reasonable position for a run to #1 soon.

Need to see more, Torres yesterday was the biggest step up till now and until the devastating combination KO he struggled to showcase his skills because he took a big leap in opposition and is just adjusting at the top level.

I think the fighters listed Angelo Leo, Arnold Keghai, and Carlos Castro are a solid step up to fight top 5 ranked contenders.

Ruben Villa is technically a top 5 fighter at 126 in my opinion, despite not being talked about often, he is a fighter with a win over one of the current champ Venado Lopez and faired pretty well against Navarrete despite the knockdowns at age 23. (Being 1-1, in the championship level.)

As a professional, he also has a good win over the Cuban, Alexei Collado (26-2, 23 KOs), a big puncher with a deep amateur pedigree.

I've watched " Shu Shu " since his amateur days and always thought he'd be a really good Pro.

I don't think matching him with Leo is a huge step up.
          I'd take Carrington by UD.

Leo is DEFINITELY a huge step up. Dude touched a belt. Only lost to fooking Fulton. Still only 29 so not ancient.

Now if Shu Shu makes it not look like a huge step up fair play, maybe he does, maybe he doesn't, maybe he loses, but its clearly a huge step up from last night.

The first matchup that came to me that would be a good step up and easy for TR to make is Isaac Dogboe. Former world champ, tough, will come to fight, but probably a bit faded. Perfect stepping stone for Carrington next imo

                I get your point.

The reason I say it wouldn't be a huge step up is based on what I see as Carrington's potential.

I think Shu Shu's a better fighter than Fulton and also think he beats Castro fairly easy.
But Leo's style would take him a little bit of time to solve.
