Those are ifs, but you have a point there, but it's hard to prove. Personally, I think Marg was loaded, but you can't also question that chin. Cotto was hitting him flush and he wouldn't go anywhere. Perhaps, he had plaster in his head. LOL. I think it would have been closer if they fought "in equal terms."

In any case, let's stick to what already happened and though he fought 3 tough SOBs in Mosley, Margarito and Clottey, I believe the Jennings and Gomez fights hurt his case for best resume in the last 5 fights.

Cotto didn't put on the best game plan, but I believe he would have won anyways. Remember Cotto was mostly punching Margarito while moving back. He couldn't generate the same amount of power. And he was running not to get hurt so that got him tired, plus that affects your offense.

I really believe Margarito can be knocked out by a shots to the stomach or ribs. the think is that just because Margarito had his face always wide open Cotto went to the face instead of the body. Margarito was smiling when he got punch by Mosley in the stomach you can tell he felt it and it was just a good jab.

Cotto gets points for facing Margarito that's for sure.

Margarito sucks though. Without loaded gloves, he'd probably have more than 12 losses, no doubt. Everybody he fights outboxes him until they feel they concrete in his hands
