Didn't even watch this card with Sandoval vs Mama being DOA due to Hep C.

I definitely didn't foresee much upset potential vs a guy who hasn't won a fight in 4yrs even if Jojo isn't peak Jojo. This should put the nails in the lid of Jojo's world class coffin. I was just saying the other day I wasn't sure if Kid Austin could get by Jojo, but after this L it makes a ton of sense for Kid Austin to get a nice name on his resume like Jojo in his next fight or two.

Good fight, but this dude Diaz has fallen off badly since he won the title from Farmer. All of his personal issues outside of the ring have really taken their toll on him and he hasn't found a way to recover from them. He's 31 and seems to still have some fight left in him but it's hard to see where he goes from here after this L.

I have seen nothing from JoJo in the last 3 years to say he could sniff the top 10 at 135

I’m rooting for JoJo , & it was a close fight, but tonight was Perez 3rd fight since 2019 and he’s not a top 10 fighter , albeit that may change (though I doubt it) since he may becomes a full time fighter after this win.

135 is best for JoJo size wise, but him being top 10 there again is a long shot until proven otherwise

Really good fight. Both guys put on a show. The last scorecard was ridiculous. Jojo still got some fights in him to give the top guys some trouble
