Where are these comments coming from? Ortiz came in with a well-thought out game plan n executed it to perfection. If you think his performance was boring you don’t know the Sweet Science; Lopez proved HE doesn’t, ( can’t cut off the ring, can’t defend against a south paw, lacks ring-generalship ( which by the way is NOT nearly as nebulous a term as stated above but rather a historically well defined scoring metric)). If bout was bad for Boxing it is because Ortiz got robbed. He won nearly, if not, every round.
