Comments Thread For: Adam Azim on Facing Dalton Smith: I Don't Fear No One, I Don't Mind Taking That Fight

Last week's news that the European Boxing Union had ordered a purse bid for Adam Azim (11-0, 8 KO's) to defend his EBU super lightweight title against British and Commonwealth champion Dalton Smith (15-0, 11 KO's) should have been a major, exciting announcement.

Agreed: Triple crown contests (British, Commonwealth & European) don't come along that often & I'd like to see this sooner rather than later. Of course Azim wants to delay until Dalton ages & he improves it's only natural. Sadly I see boxer being the problem here!

Adam talks way above his untested station but good luck to the kid, you need confidence in this game , these fights at domestic , Euro level need to happen.

Right now, this is a terrible idea for Azim. Smith counters well, has fought better fighters, and is quicker and larger than any of Azim's opponents. He might improve further, but right now he'd be a big underdog
