It is not the same walking around 170/180 and only trimming down to 168 to fight a full fledge 168/175 guy, especially when has never fought at that weight, he might be gassed out by the 5th round not accustomed to trow punches carrying that much weight. Definitely not a fair fight.

I know that Canelo , obviously will be the bigger man and maybe healthier but I would still like to see it and shut all the naysayers up

I think he would go in thinking that he can win, but once he feels the power and that his punches doesn't do the same damage he's use too, the doubt will set in. Now, I think he's a great fighter but too small, imo it would like Gamboa vs Crawford. I'll be rooting for him, but I prefer benavidez or Morell jr vs ginger.

David is the obvious fight here to make but i would have been ok with a Munguia fight as well.

A charlo fight is a ***ing joke and the WBC are corrupt *******s, they are holding his middleweight belt hostage for nearly 3 years now, so that he can fight and lose to canelo at 168 and in return they will allow him to stay middleweight champion and just go back down there, that is their favor for him being an easy title defense for canelo. tit for tat, corruption.

WBC has a financial interest for canelo to remain champ as long as possible, he will sell more PPV than david benavidez, Canelo has been WBC's biggest money maker in history.
