I understand that if this fight had any chance of happening it would be a cash out for Conor, or at least it would reiterate the fact that he is NOT world level and should stay in his lane.
How realistic is this matchup? For one, I don't think there's really any demand whatsoever for Benn to fight Tank. Nobody thinks he would stand a chance in that fight and they're more than one weight class away. Hell, Tank won't even fight the top dogs in his weight class. Why would he move up one to two weight classes to fight a guy who has no chance? It just doesn't make any sense.
There's nothing wrong with having confidence, it's a necessity in all pro sports, especially a dangerous game like boxing but Benn is overconfident to the point where he's delusional if he thinks he stands a chance against any of the top dogs at 140-147. He would be decimated without the juice.
It's no coincidence that Benn KO'd the usually durable Algieri and Van Heerden, popped dirty and then couldn't even knock down his last two lower level opponents.

Has his power fallen that much since he got busted? He fought durable 154s. Cabbage Patch put a rehydration clause on InstaRyan. He isn't fighting Benn in a straight welterweight fight without a catchweight and rehydration clause. What's the point?

Guarantee you his little one punch counter isn't going to work at welterweight. That's why he was crying about Haney rehydrating to 165.

Giving this David character too much credit like he is actually a p4p fighter. People aren't looking at his resume.

Hearn is just desperate to cash out on this average kid with the famous name . Sad part is he’s prepared (as in the past ) to do it to the detriment of an opponent’s potential health . Horrible man .
