Fans everywhere didn't see it coming. When it came to Tim Tszyu, many were expecting the current WBO junior middleweight champ to either take on Erickson Lubin or possibly Jermell Charlo. Keith Thurman, on the other hand, was essentially an afterthought. The former unified welterweight titlist rarely fights anymore and he's spent the vast majority of his career campaigning at 147 pounds. So, when it was recently announced that the two would be swapping fists on March 30th, many were left scratching their heads, including Brian "Bomac" McIntyre.

Tsyzu is no easy out for anyone and that includes Crawford as well. I don't recall Crawford ever fighting a puncher with good 1-2 which precisely is what Tsyzu so I expect a tougher than expected fight for him if it happens. But it probably won't happen 'cos Crawford prefers to rot away now than fight anyone not named Canelo. With Canelo likely announcing he's fighting Charlo and Spence out of commission for a while, Crawford should take that fight. He will be 37 so I don't know what he's waiting on.

What happened to the Charlos? Crawford was calling Jermell out, now fans don't know what's next. Crawford might beat Tszyu & Thurman both on the same night--you never know. He is like a mongoose vs a cobra, like Mayweather but maybe better. Until he loses, he will be spoken of highly.

If Canelo is fighting Jermall Charlo (which is disgusting), and Spence is healing up from eye surgery again, then what is Bud gonna do? Sit around and wait? I think the best fight out there for him is Vergil Ortiz Jr. @ 154! I know there's no belts, but it would still make BIG money!!! Vergil's following is bigger than Bud's!
