Am I the only one who feels sorry for Fernando Vargas??

I used to really dislike Fernando and all his anger, posturing and "Aztec Warrior" persona.

But then I see a fighter like Miguel Cotto running way from Margarito and taking a knee without a punch being thrown, and I have a greater appreciation for Feroz and his "I'm going out on my shield" mentality.

i blame his corner, they should have thrown the towel, there was no way he was going to win that fight, and he was taking career-ending punishment at that point. You can clap for his heart, but the truth is his corner let him believe the hype, so they have this young ass kid in this position where he thinks the only way to leave the ring is with the W, or on a stretcher. Just plain dumb.

He earned my respect for getting up from 2 huge left hooks in the first round to staying in the fight until he got KO in the 12 and final round.

But still, putting a 21 year old in with a seasoned veteran like Tito who also happened to be the most dangerous puncher in those devisions was a pretty ****** thing to do.


I saw his acting skills in Alpha Dog and I knew he had been punched too much.

1. He's punch drunk.. I barely can understand 1 word of every sentence..
Its always said when its a clear case. He used to be a very fast talker. And actually articulate.. now he barely put together words.. Its not nearly as bad as Meldric or Toney.. But its pretty bad..

2. He's fat as hell.. He looks like chubby lesbian..

3. He is suing his freaking MOTHER and kicking her out of his home... Unreal
I smell money problems. He's talking about coming back too.. That means he is broke..
