  • Comments Thread For: Turki Alalshikh on Usyk-Fury Postponement: If I think Tyson Is Scared I Would Not Waste My Time; The Cut Happened

Turki Alalshikh won't entertain any notion that casts doubt on the legitimacy of Tyson Fury's latest gash. The Saudi power broker was quick to dispel such theories after it was announced that the undisputed heavyweight championship between Fury, the WBC titlist, and Oleksandr Usyk, the WBO, WBA, IBF, IBO champion, will not be

Yea that’s your other outfit Skills Challenge though to how’d that go with all the wasted time on that one last year ?

Wasting everyone’s time is what Fury is actually known for and or created difficulties hopefully you won’t continue to find that out ,it’s not about being afraid it’s about being professional and he’s just never going to be that guy , Foreman cut his eye with over a month away from his fight not 2 weeks this is also not 1974 where your manager acts as your doctor and decides when the fight will continue things today is pretty clear procedures how to properly do things with the money involved in todays boxing it’s not something that just gets printed on a news paper , fans are going to act see everything that goes on in todays world and everyone knows there’s just something wrong somewhere here .

"Gruesome cut" - note the unnecessary adjective. These are the subtle ways media manipulates people.

It's sufficient to say he suffered a cut and let people draw their own conclusions as to its severity, unless a doctor's report is being published.

It is a pretty gruesome cut. Quite large.

Nothing wrong with describing it accurately.

Ok, are we back again to Fury hating (which I don't argue with - people are free to like or dislike), disregarding what the main person claims about the cut?

Whether an accidental cut is "supposed" to happen only within a specific period before a fight is one of the most idiotic claims.

Aye, the way people go you'd think all of boxing was literally scripted, "We'll decide to get cut week 3 of camp not 7 that's too close to the fight date and people might question it".

Lord have mercy the hate for Fury is crazy he's a twát at times but Jesus lets inject some critical thinking into the mix...

It is clear that Tyson Fury is putting in a extreme effort 'To train for Usyk'.

And for me? This is why all of these reports coming out of him being ****** about were appearing 'It is also why he was injured'.

Tyson Fury's performance vs Francis Ngannou, from what I can see 'Has induced a state of panic in Fury and his team'.

The reaction has resulted in Fury, now all of a sudden wanting to train at a elevated intensity 'This will get his hardcore fans all flustered, as they pine over images that appear of Fury showings signs of being a top level Athlete'.

But I believe, this type of conduct from Fury could potentially lead him into being over trained 'We have seen this throughout history, with fighters who were similar to Tyson Fury'. They all behave this way, and think they can just rewind and negate the years they have not trained at a high intensity or fought at a High Level skill for skill'.

Tyson Fury is not a experienced fighter at World or Elite level skill for skill, nowhere near to the level of Oleksandr Usyk or Anthony Joshua 'Tyson Fury also in terms of work ethic, is nowhere to the level of Joshua and Uysk. Those are two proven facts of Tyson Fury's career, and resume'.

The last time Fury has fought at Elite level skill for skill, was coming up to 9 years ago vs Wladimir Kiltschko 'Deontay Wilder was a elite level fight, but Wilder was not a elite level challenge in terms of his boxing skills'.

Oleksandr Usyk in comparison, has for me? Fought better fighters than Tyson Fury skill for skill, all throughout his entire career. Usyk is a Olympic Champion, and former Undisputed Cruiserweight World Champion. Manny of those fighters that Uysk fought at cruiserweight were pound for pound, skill for skill superior fighters to Tyson Fury 'Usyk has also been fighting at a higher level than Fury, within the Heavyweight Division in recent years'.

Note: All the postponement will do in my opinion, is give Tyson Fury more time to go into overdrive. I have stated in my previous posts, that Fury was already in his normal fight condition 3 months ago 'All Fury needed to do, was participate in another solid training camp and just keep the momentum. And this would give him the best possible chance of wining vs Oleksandr Usyk'.

Two back to back training camps, would of solidified Fury's condition 'He potentially would of come into this most recent Usyk fight, with a more solid and robust conditioning'. And he would not be over trained'.

The people that try their best to promote the narrative that Fury did not train for Francis Ngannou 'Are ether lying to themselves, or they have not watched Fury's entire career'. If and when Tyson Fury does not train, Fury would be close to 400 pounds. Fury would of not been 277 pounds fully clothed, get up off the deck and fight his way back into the fight vs Francis Ngannou'.

Tyson Fury did not win his fight vs Francis Ngannou 'But the positive things, that he did achieve in the fight. Were possible because he was in fight condition. Was Fury in his best ever fight condition? No. But for sure, Tyson Fury the night he fought Francis Ngannou was in fight condition'.

That is why the performance has had this effected on Tyson Fury, and his entire camp 'There has been a reaction, you can see this in his family speaking'.

To conclude: Overall I believe all of these incidents are occurring, because Fury is putting in a extreme conscious effort towards his training. Fury and his team are also in a state of panic, due to his performance vs Francis Ngannou. And the reaction to this, is that Fury has gone into overdrive. Historically this type of sudden conduct has not resulted in great performances for those fighters who were very similar to Tyson Fury i.e Fighters who for years did not really fight at very high level, and training wise they are up and down in terms of intensity 'I have spoken this more in-depth in my recent posts'

All the signs are evident, that Tyson Fury is losing his hold over the Heavyweight Division 'Both inside and outside of the ring'. The under-par performances, the fight pull outs, the getting **** about in training and injured. Those are all documented signs, that Fury's hold and so called dominance over the Heavyweight Division is decreasing'.

Soon as this battle between the top-4 heavyweights, became a drawn out battle 'To see who will be the last man standing of this era. I theorized that the competition, would move back towards both Oleksandr Uysk and Anthony Joshua'.

And I believe this is precisely what we are witnessing with all of these incidents, both inside and outside of the ring 'With all of the fighters involved'.

Tyson Fury is still the number 1 rated Heavyweight in the world, but how much longer? The fight for Tyson Fury, the battle has already begun etc.

its big enough to require stitches and time to heal, you dont have to be a doctor to look at it and realize it will need to heal and he cant fight like that without it opening back up.

Saudi now has some of the biggest fights, more money than Vegas I guess.

I won't comment on the criticism, valid or not, of sport in Saudi Arabia, but yeah, they seem to want to make the best fights.
