and he became the not only the man in the division, but the Lineal champion.

Like i said if he doesn't fight one of the 3 i cease to become a fan of his, however i ask you did Floyd come back to just face Marquez?

No.. he is clearly talking **** like he allways does.

Those are the 3 pay days and hardest fights out there right now (excluding PW). Imo he is waiting out Pac/Cotto win even if he says he isn't lol, i blame Arum a bit for this too..

Can't argue with Facts good post

Edit: On the last line tho, he doesn't need to prove **** at WW but he should still be taking the hardest/Biggest Pay day fights which those 3 certainly are tho.

That is true but if he's gonna stick around he's gotta make big fights...and there are worthy opponents out there

His decision to try to negotiate a bull**** rematch with DLH and then to retire, was extremely decision.

If he doesn't fight either the Pacquiao-Cotto winner or Mosley next, then count me in the "ex-Floyd fan" category.

I think he'll end up fighting one or the other next, despite the posturing.

Whom else is he going to fight to get a huge payday?

Hes the big star, cash cow now,

he should be able to fight anyone and pull in the money.

                Oscar always did.

The more time that goes by and the more that Mayweather shows he has no interest in making the best fights, more fans jump off of his boat.

So at what point did you just say, "nah, I can't **** with this cat anymore"?
For me it was when he fought Judah. After Judah was coming off a loss to a bum. Then when the Whole Margarito thing happened. I just knew who would never fight a true top WW. And, then I started looking back at his whole career with the Casamayor HBO-Showtime thing. When Spadafora and Stevie Johnston was calling him out and Floyd fought Ndou and Sosa instead. When Vivian Harris and Junior Witter called him out and he fought Henry Bruseles instead. I just started putting 2 and 2 together. And, realize he would not fight the best out there
