Comments Thread For: Shigeoka Brothers Confirmed For Separate Title Defenses On March 31 ABEMA-TV Show In Nagoya

The Shigeoka brothers will once again share the stage with Tomoki Kameda--and one another. Yudai and Ginjiro Shigeoka are set for separate strawweight title defenses on the same show, the same manner in which they won their separate belts. Both will appear on the already announced March 31 ABEMA-TV card from Nagoya International Conference Hall in Nagoya, Aichi, Japan.

Yawn. The strawweight division is so thin of talent that there really are no interesting challengers. Just retreads, novices, and journeymen. If Niyomtrong, the Shigeoka brothers, and Collazo aren't unifying, there isn't a decent fight to be made.

The brothers are fresh talent and new on the scene. You can say the same thing about Midddleweight and even light HW - apart from Bivol and Beterbiev who really stands out?
