  • Comments Thread For: Haney Quips Conor Benn's Power Was Left In Needle, Benn Claps Back At Devin

Conor Benn defeated Peter Dobson in a workmanlike unanimous decision victory on Saturday at The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. Many expected Benn to score a stoppage win against the little-known underdog, but the 246 punches the Brit landed over 12 rounds didn't do much damage to Dobson during their 150-pound catchweight clash.

That was a good one... Got to give Haney credit for that. I laughed long and hard.

If Devin wants to test himself @ 147, then Conor Benn is the one! Nice backup plan if Ryan swerves again! Go to London, or Saudi Arabia, and get the bag!!!

Bill Haney was being the sneaky MF'er he is, but Conor just got conned!

Whenever someone gets busted for drugs, there are always going to be questions. IMHO Benn would get crushed by any of the top guys. He is trying to use his mouth to get a payday! Peter Dobson? When is he going to step up the competition?

Haney is absolutely correct. Benn is a known cheater and at a minimum should be banned for one year for a first offense, two years for a second offense, and a lifetime ban for a third offense. Following any ban, the athlete or his handlers should be required to pay for monthly testing.

The Association of Boxing Commissions, (ABC) which is a complete joke, has done absolutely nothing to create a standard penalty for drug cheats. If the ABC had competent people in office, they should never bow to Hearn and should not license cheaters like Benn, Alicia Baumgardner, Dillian Whyte, Jarrell Miller, Canelo Alvarez, Oscar Valdez, and Tyson Fury to name a few.

Matchroom’s Hearn is taking his cheaters to our shores in defiance of the bans imposed on fighters like Benn by the BBoBC. It’s time to get competent people running the ABC so that a standard penalty is put into effect for these cheaters.

Another article which came about a few days ago but wtv
Haney is not wrong actually is spot on
Benn is a nobody , trying to make some coin before he sails away
No power and much problems as we seen with him fighting Pistol Pete and far from a masterclass of boxing
