They said that about Bud-- that he was avoiding smoke, until Errol agreed to face him. And Errol turned out to be not much of a challenge for Bud. He got picked apart and beat up. Likewise, Boots is beating up whoever gets in the ring. These are grown ass men, professionals who run everyday, train hard, eat right, and have lots of amateur experience and also many professional fights under their belts. U act like they're nobodies. They're skilled fighting men with two arms and legs and the courage to get in the ring with him. How do ppl find ways to ignore that fact, and call these men bums and nobodies? Just face the fact that Mr Jaron Ennis career is very well protected. His team's handling of him is very different from say Vergil Ortiz Jr.'s. And Ortiz is one year younger. He pursued and fought Kavaliauskas at 23, no big deal, no fanfare, then tried to follow it up with Avanesyan who backed out with still unknown reason, then pursued Stanionis, but unfortunately scrapped due to weight problems. And now he's ready for Tzsyu. You're painting a narrative about Boots that only exists in your mind.

It sounds like ur giving Ortiz credit more for who he allegedly "pursued", rather than who he actually fought. You mentioned Amnesia, Stanionis, and Tszyu... and Ortiz didn't fight any of them. That's not how u analyze boxing, my brother

It still felt underwhelming is the thing tho. And he was like a face of & ppv guy for PBC. I mean you gotta go back to 2015 when he had more than 2 fights a yr ffs. And dude turned pro in 2012 ffs so dude was 2 fights a yr since 26yrs old. I don't think Errol ever got close to being as big as he coulda been with the best fights sooner & by being more active.

I don't wanna see Boots on 2 fights a yr max for the rest of his career & the big fights being marinated/avoided for too long.

What BIG fights can Hearn get him from 147-154? Conor Benn? I'd rather Boots go with Haymon! Stanionis, Jesus Ramos, Lubin, Charlo, Spence, and Tszyu, still over there! If Tank can fight Garcia on SHO, Boots can fight Vergil Ortiz on Prime!

Making shows, but idk why he (or anyone) wouldn't wanna fook with a free agent on a regular basis if that guy was as dynamic as Boots.

Also is it clear if Boots is a free agent now or is it possible some relative or friend of Dunkin is now his promoter or something like that? I've not seen anyone delving into specifics with Boots situation since Dunkin passed to know whats up for sure.

Honestly Benn is a step up from what he got with PBC. Again thats the problem. PBC sits on guys too much. And they sit on big fights when they got more names than any other platform. Who cares if you got a bunch of names if they aren't gonna let Boots fight them?

I trust Eddie to get Boots the best fight available every fight. And with Amazon only giving PBC 12-14 dates a yr its a good bet there will be some free agents looking for a deal. Subriel Matias is already gone. Surely more will leave in the future as dates get limited. Maybe Eddie gets to shop some other 147 guys.

Also Eddie has a relationship with Turki whos making fights with everyone. Turki got PBC mainstay Deontay fighting in Dubai as the comain ffs. Im sure he could get Stanionis , Keef or Barrios there. I think Turki can make any fight involving Boots at 147 if he decides he wants to.

I seen Haymon slow roll Errol for years already. I see Tank being more interested in his crowd size than his opp. GAR is becoming his older brother GRJ with his activity. And the activity ain't even the part I'm hating on, I'm hating on not making the biggest fights each time out since guys are so infrequently fighting.

Nah the worst move Boots could make is signing with Haymon & getting bottlenecked on the schedule like all these other guys with limited dates to fight on & then not even getting the best fight available. Boots will be fighting once a year with PBC if he signs with them & he'll probably only fight a legit guy every other year. I'd rather Boots gamble on Eddie with his Turki connection who can buy these PBC guys of interest for a fight & keep him more active.
