Klitschko Will Continue To Fight Often, Says Boente

According to Bernd Boente, manager of WBC champion Vitali Klitschko, a deal to fight undefeated Kevin Johnson has not been finalized. Once complete, he said the fight would take place on December 12 with the likely venue to be somewhere in Switzerland.

**** yeah. There is nothing better than your favorite fighter, fighting every 3 or 4 months. I wanted this back in 2004 but we all know what happened, the injuries. I still would like to see him fight Valuev next year, that fight would be very historic, the two tallest heavywieght champs of all time going at it. Major PPV. This fight would sell, trust me.

Sounds good. I'd like to see Vitali challenged though and I don't think Johnson is the guy. He is at least quick and long. Whether that matters or not w'ell see.

With Johnson will be like Larry Donald, he was also a quick boxer 6 foot four with a longer reach than Vitali but Vitali won and he is a better fighter now than he was then. Vitali is going to teach Johnson a painfull lesson, how to box like him but with power.

These Klitschko's are some big mofos. And it's hard to get to them, and if you try you will go thru brutal punishment.

Vitali is making up for lost time. The man is in grreat shape and the current contenders are little more than cannon fodder.

            long may the beatings continue!

Looking back ob boxing history, looking at the records of some of the GREATS, it is seen that they fought very regularly, sometimes 2-4-4 times amonth, or even a couple of times the same night, when the first fight would finish early. It was all about giving fans value for their money.

Many times thes great fighters would "carry' their opponents, to stretch out the fight, so that the fans would come again. Jaqck Johnson was NOTD for this. In fact in his bouts with Langford, and Ketchell, you can see where he'd hold up the opponent when he was on his way down to the canvas.

Even Sugar Ray Robinson in his fight with (I'm not sure) either Tony Janiro or Fusari, or.... said " I fought him 30 rounds 15 for him and 15 for me. I have the filmed interview where he said that. He also said it was common to "carry" an opponent to make sure that there were enough rounds for fan enjoyment.

Are you trying to say Vitali carried Arreola into the 10th round ?

Man, he'll have knocked out the entire heavyweight division in a couple years. Anyone that hates the Klitschkos better hope Haye is a contender, because he is the only hope left.

We need the Rematch, somebody needs to slap Lennox Lewis with an offer he can't refuse... other than that no one can test these Klit brothers except themselves
