I heard Bill went to the fight and approached him about a fight with Devin. It's a safer loss than boots or stanionis and probably more money too. It's also safer for Haney than Matias or teo so I could see this fight getting made. It's probably their backup plan if Ryan pulls outta negotiations again.

If it's not gonna be Garcia then I like this fight alot for Haney... Gets a showcase, possibly PPV, can probably get a stoppage due to his accuracy and walking Benn onto shots and can hopefully end this Benn sham too.

Benn is an absolute poser, been saying it forever. Fake beard, fake teeth, came into the game wearing Patek's and driving Ranges.. if ever there was someone who'd cut corners and cheat for the fame it's this kid. Apple fell along way from the tree with Benn Jr.

Benn is a high energy fighter, lots of stamina. He also has a lot to work on to have a serious chance of beating the best.

The higher level you go, the tougher it's getting, as he's discovering.

1. You could hear a good fart for half of that fight. Quiet!

2. No bias commentators. Keep Bradley and Andre Ward away from DAZN!

3. Dobson said this week he was as good as Crawford. WHAAAT? Great chin though. The success he had could be more attributed to the weakness of Benn.

4. Benn’s offense was good but not great or excellent. His speed was inconsistent and Bud, Ortiz, The Monster – these guys have heat seekers. Benn was a touch wild and wide. Great fighters will take some huge advantage of that. His offensive angles and footwork were better than I have seen him before.

5. Benn’s defense needs some serious work for next-level guys. He ate way too many telegraphed slow shots and he comes straight back over and over which allows the opponent to whack him.

6. That Andre Ward, BHop, Holifield dirty stuff in the clinch does not sit well with me. Not getting caught is just skilled cheating.

7. How can anyone root for Benn after hearing that post fight interview? He gave no credit to Dobson at all. That ego stuff only sells fights if you are committed to being the bad guy.

Get what you’re saying but will Haney get credit for fighting a guy who’s no where close to his caliber ?
And besides getting that name on his resume , is it really worthwhile ?
