I was reading 'Four Kings' by George Kimball. I've read it before and think it's a great book and would strongly reccommend it if you haven't read it. Anyway in the book there was a quote from Hall Of Fame Trainer Angelo Dundee:
"Ray (Leonard) was always going to beat Tommy (Hearns). For one reason - balance. Some guys are blessed with it, some guys aren't. You give Tommy Hearns Ray's (Leonard) balance and he probably beats them all"
The quote came up when the Author George Kimball talked about each of the Four Kings having good chins. He said Tommy Hearns had a good chin but it was his legs that betrayed him in a few big fights and he didn't have the greatest balance.
Do you agree/disagree with Dundee's statement?
