I wouldn't be surprised if 80% or more of the top fighters used illegal performance enhancers.

Use doping and you'll recuperate better from a hard work-out. Hence you are enabled to train more thereby increasing your skilllevel. Nuff said.

If Pacquiao truly has the natural muscle of 130 guy, why does he balloon to 150+lbs after fights? Is there a chance he's roiding during the off-season?

But I have to agree with you. There are quite a few anabolics that are specifically made for endurance athletes, to help cutting down the rest time of muscle so you can work harder longer, not for the creation of lean mass. I would not be surprised that a few pro boxers use it either, but only time will tell, IF the commissions really cared which I think they don't.

But hey I could be wrong.

I went to youtube to check it out using video comparison of the first and second fight--his body type appears largely the same. I think the winning gloves had something to do with Pacquiao's body looking smaller, maybe it was his hair, I'm not certain. I'm sure Pacquiao may have bulked up a bit for the second fight but it could've been largely due to training but I'm not rulling out ANYTHING.

Watch closely 3:40 and 3:14 for the first and second match respectively. You'll see the entire frame of Pacquiao after the 1st round.

                  First fight:
