Comments Thread For: Hearn: If I Had My Way, Berlanga Would Be Next For Munguia; But He Has A Lot Of Options

Eddie Hearn is well aware that Jaime Munguia multiplied his options and ascended into a higher tax bracket by stopping John Ryder in impressive fashion Saturday night.

If Hearn had his way, he wishes he stayed with SKY because DAZN has been a disaster. Now, DAZN has finally woken up and have put financial restrictions on Hearn. This is why Hearn and Warren are besties. Both have found a new sucker in Turkie. Once Turkie wakes up, Hearn and Warren will need to merge because both will be desperate to find another sucker to rip off.

Berlangs sucks and Hearn signed him to fight Canelo after he ran out of pizza delivery drivers to fight Canelo. But, Canelo said bye bye after he found a sucker in PBC who lets him fight very safe fights against 147-154 pound fighters. Now Hearn is stuck with a tremendous hype job and under achiever in Berlanga.

If the reports of Canelo’s extreme cowardice behavior regarding his next two fights are accurate, that will free Benavidez up. However , it’s highly unlikely that Oscar is ready to cash Munguia out and allow that fight to happen. Berlanga actually makes most sense for Munguia. He has a name and is at the level of risk that he’s used to, which is minimal.

Skys basically finished in boxing now with boxxer and gone the way of the PBC one step in the grave. I guess Hearn is going for last man standing with Top Rank and the rest. Hopefully now the PBC disaster ship has sunk boxing can be saved.

Beating Berlanga does what exactly for Mungia?

Mungia is better off going back to clean up Deryenchenko

Mungia would probably **** Berlanga up lets be honest, you can tell the mexican has better fundamentals overall and a more agressive style.

It's a good fight fight with low risk but not no risk. Berlanga has some power and Munguia has a wide open style, he can be hit.

Munguia would absolutely OBLITERATE Berlanga... so Hearn needs to be very careful if he wants to be able to cash him out against Canelo soon.
