I believe he is waiting for the winners of pacquaio-cotto and mosley-berto despite what he says. We will get a clearer picture soon hopefully, i predict the following:
if pacquiao beats cotto, mayweather-pacquaio will happen next.
if cotto beats pacquiao, a cotto-mosley rematch will happen to settle whos the best welterweight once for all, floyd will fight the winner of this fight.
what i know is floyd wont fight mosley unless mosley beats the winner of cotto-pacquiao to make things bigger.
I believe bob arum already has gone on the record to say the winner of cotto-pacquiao will give shane mosley a chance.
either way bob arum has options, whoever is the winner of pacquiao-cotto, arum can match them up with shane mosley and theres another big fight, whereas floyd doesn't have any other option as he already said he wont fight mosley, unless berto somehow manages to beat a 38 year old mosley and floyd decides to fight berto.
either way he will fight in 2010, not the remaining 2009.
