canelo would love for jamie-david to get drawn in fighting each other maybe even a trilogy so he can keep ducking them.

with TWO options for canelo that fans are demanding it makes it even more clear that hes ducking them. id rather they not fight each other for that reason.

he should just retire. Nobody really cares about him fighting Charlos.

he will demand they fight each other to prove who is most worthy to take him on, then he will choose someone else to fight

He did say he wouldn’t find any Mexicans back in 2022, looks like he has no intention of changing his mind. I’m guessing he will fight Jermall in 2024 who went the distance with a smaller Benavidez.

Canelo is really only a protected hype job t this point, since losing to Bivol he has fought ONE guy from his own division, Ryder and two guys moving up.

I have no problem who he fights, but this guy is not e legit 168 champ.

Assuming Munguia takes Ryder's number 5 spot in the TBRB rankings, it will mean Canelo has only fought one out of his top 5 challengers (#3 Plant).

It's unacceptable if he doesn't choose one of these guys as his next opponent. Benavidez is most deserving and the WBC should order it. We'll see how important "undisputed" is to Canelo when the mandatory challengers start looking dangerous. Morrell is his WBA mandatory.

Corrupt sanctioning bodies allow these PPV fighters to write their own ticket and cherry pick their opponents. Canelo is using the Floyd blueprint to line up the lowest risk/highest reward. At least Canelo took on a prime champion in Bivol, but that loss is the last one he is willing to risk. He won’t fight Benevidez or Munguia. He will either stand by his refusal to fight Mexicans or use his feud with Oscar to avoid Jaime.

If diplomacy fails, Benavidez and Morrell need to forcefully exercise their right as mandatory challengers. If Canelo wants to fool around in other cash grabs that's up to him and those willing to pay, but he can't keep masquerading as an "undisputed champion".

why would he duck munguia? he wants that fight just like he wanted the chavez jr fight. they are easy fights. he just doesnt want to fight benavidez cause its not an easy fight. this isnt rocket science stuff
