  • This was an impressive win for Munguia, maybe his most impressive to date.
That said Munguia did look like he was a weight class bigger than Ryder, and he was really bouncing Ryder on, and off the canvas.
Munguia should probably be fighting at light heavyweight, he's just usually bigger, and heavier than most of his opponent's.

    • One thing I noticed is that Munguia is fighting better. I noticed him using his jab and reach more. He threw flurries strategically almost like a Pacquiao when he would pick and choose his spots. He got hit, but not as much as he used to. I think his pairing with Freddie is going to pay off big time. Is he ready for Canelo? That's a tough one. Canelo is a big time counter puncher. He's slick and will clip you when you least expect it. BUT, Munguia is bigger and has a chin. Dang. I'm torn. I think if he fights Canelo next he can't go wrong. He's 27 and this is the best he's ever looked in my opinion.

I believe those were Jaime Munguia fan's in attendance, sure their were a lot of Canelo fan's as well.
Canelo doesn't get credit for what other fighters accomplish, this is an individual sport.
When Munguia stated that it would be an honor to share the ring with Canelo the fan's roared their approval.
Munguia is an exciting fighter to watch in the ring, he's undefeated, knocks out most of his opponent's, can take a punch, and isn't afraid to battle it out.
Munguia against anyone of the top rated fighter's in the 168 pound division will be a war.
I'm not saying that he'll beat all of them, but he will beat some of them, and he'll give them hell at the bell, (like the referee said)!

The Canelo fans were here on the site not in attendance
And yes Munguia impressed me last night showed another side to him
Still got hit and will continue to get hit cause we all know now he’s with Roach and there’s no defence teachings there
He is lucky to have a granite chin though
          But for how long ?

That would be a hell of a fight, I've got to go with Morrell on this one, he's got the height, reach, and power over Mbilli!

I think thats it's for Ryder, rather don't take more punishment. I'm sure he made some good money from his last few fights, especially Canelo.
Benavidez vs Canelo, and Munguia vs Morrell, Berlanga vs Pacheco, and Mbilli vs Plant, now those would be two fight's to watch.
The winner's, and loser's should then fight each other in a round robin.

mfer needs to get himself a real haircut first dude is rockin an 8 yr old little school girls hair style.
He's not looking for a payday, he's looking to fight the mexican monster, allegedly the boogeyman of the division, believe me there's no payday in that fight, only pain. And munguia has been facing bum after bum too.

Naw, it should be Mbilli vs Morrell. It’s finally time for Morrell to fight someone good and Mbilli is ranked #1.

                  And Munguia vs Jermall Charlo.

Berlanga vs Pacheco I agree with.

                    • Mungia sure is a fun fighter to watch. I don't think that he has much of a chance against Canelo though. Mungia is too easy to counter and Canelo is a really sharp counter puncher. I think that Canelo beats him because Canelos defense is better , he should take less damage than Mungia in a battle of attrition. Mungias best chance would be in really pushing the pace and working the body. Who knows , it might end up being a battle of the chins ? I could see that happening too.I would like to see the fight , but at this point, I'm not going to be pleased if Canelo doesn't fight Benavidez before anyone else. Benavidez is his most worthy challenger. I hesitate to call Canelo a duck , but he's done everything but quack and lay an egg.
