One fight does not make a great fighter, so many average guys pull an upset, that doesn't define great, its the entire resume that makes them great.

Can you believe it censored the identity plural? This forum still does some very weird things while posting and editing posts, and has done ever since they changed it, years now.
My point is every year there are hall of famers being inducted. Hall of fame criteria isn't based on comparing eras. It's how dominant and good you are in your own era. You don't need to beat any hofers to become a hofer. That's the biggest misconception I see. Vlad beat a bunch of euro bums and he's in the hofer. He beats zero hofers.

EXAMPLE, EDWIN ROSARIO WHO WAS A TOP P4P FIGHTER IN HIS PRIME RETIRED in 1997 BUT ONLY GOT INDUCTED IN THE HALL OF FAME IN 2006. IF YOU LOOK IN ANY ERA IN THE PAST NOBODY WAS A HOFER WHILE THEY ARE ACTIVE UNTIL THEY RETIRED MANY YEARS AFTER.

THE CRITERIA FOR THE HALL OF FAME ISN'T TO COMPARE FIGHTERS FROM DIFFERENT ERAS. IT'S TO COMPARE YOURSELF WITH FIGHERS FROM YOUR OWN ERA. A LOT OF FIGHTERS TODAY THAT MANY DON'T THINK WILL GET INTO THE HALL OF FAME WILL BE HOFERS A DECADE LATER AFTER THEY RETIRE.
I can agree to some extent.
It's not as if there are HOFers available to fight everyone
And when they are available, are they past prime and just surviving off name recognition ?

That said, a legit resume should contain a bunch of quality names as close to prime as possible.

We all know what a quality resume looks like.
        Even the hateful fanboys know

It's like when people say Wladimir Klitschko didn't beat many other world champs. How the **** could h have when he literally dominated the division for well over a decade! No one could hold the belts or ve a former champ, cause Wlad was so good!
