His career is looking good so far and he's beat quality operators but nobody to say he's the best 140 lb'er in the world. That's just bravado and ego talking right now. I can't say I blame him though. If he truly believes that statement, maybe he'll get one of the top 5 in the ring against him if he wins his next fight, looks going doing it and keeps calling out the top names. Hopefully for his sake, if he wins and gets a big name in the ring, he does well, otherwise his words will ring hollow and he will look like Broner did, talking about all the opponents that would never beat him only to lose to those fighters and look like a total goof.

Fans care if you are boring. Being boring often hurts you getting good names.

I'm not saying hes not talented. He clearly is, but fans don't enjoy watching talented guys who can't end fights vs inferior opposition. Even a guy as insanely talented as Shakur has dealt with issues with being boring to fans & hes way more fun to watch than Hitchins.

Sure I'll be watching if he fights more inferior opposition or a name but im in the minority of hardcore fans that watch virtually any fight I can esp when its a top ten type guy.

Nahh, Hitchins did what he had to against Zepeda it was huge step up in competition..but he’s still more aggressive than Shakur. His fight before against that Bauza kid was very entertainimg but I get you.. I’m a fan of Shakur but I’ve never heard Hitchins get boo’d in multiple fights
