Hopkins went up two divisions to beat Tarver who was the recognized champion. Hopkins defended his title against Calzaghe, i can't say any LHW fighter i would rather have seen him face at that point, Calzaghe was the biggest challenge out there. He outclassed Pavlik who was undefeated in a fight most thought he would loose. I don't think he needs to defend his last choice of fights and his next fight is a tune up so he can pretty much fight anyone he want's. He fought some good opposition and he should get respect but he hasen't done enough at LHW to rank as #1 there.

yep... I can excuse floyd for the WW run up to DLH because that was a huge payday (just like I excuse pac for chasing the DLH payday); but now that the he got his payday, he needs to start fighting the fights we all want to see... no more ****ing tune ups and stay busy fights.... only *******s want to see that bull****.
