I can understand a stay busy fight for Sam and that prob. a lot of guys don´t want to risk themselves against a puncher like Peter but they´re still guys better then Martinez . . how bout Sedrick Fields? Or one of those Cuban Castillo brothers?
Yeah Moli is horrible and he seems to be getting lazy as well. Jefferson is probably going to be fighting TOS next. And I'm not sure if Nicholson is still boxing. Either way there are a ton of fighters available though who are much better than Martinez.

How can you say Moli is better then Martiniez? Gilbert has at least managed to beat an old Tony Tubbs and draw with Ettiene . . Moli hasn´t even fought a name HW besides Wlad. . . no one had heard of this guy before Klitschko found him!

Peter's power is the best equalizer between the two fighters. I do not think Peter will stop Martinez in the early rounds. I think the fight might go the distance, or there is a chance of a Peter knockout late in the fight. Martinez is taylor made for Peter yes, with his plodding style. But One could argue that he is a step up in competition compared to his other opponents.

I would also like to coin this a "Clinch-fest" in the making.

Have you seen either of these fighters fight?
Because I agree with you but for totally different reasons.

I agree that the only difference between the two is Peter's power because neither of these guys can box.

Martinez gave Kirk Johnson a lot of trouble. He was never in danger of losing a round but Martinez is a very awkward fighter with a good chin.

Peter in his last two fights has gone for broke early, he doesn't think anyone can handle his power. I think that maybe Martinez can, just because he seems like one of those corrie sanders types that doesn't go down.

I think if there is a good ref, he will stop this fight when he see's the brutal beating peter lays down in the first round. If its a bad ref Martinez takes a brutal beating for 6 or 10 rounds, whatever it is they are fighting.

I just feel the theme song of this fight will be:

                "Whole lotta clinchin' goin on"

Martinez is "Clinchy" and Peter exhibits some signs of clinchiness when he is running out of gas. He does an akward lean foward clinch.

Peter's pop is exciting, but both fighters resemble John Ruiz, when it comes to "the grab".

This is just a workout fight for Peter, its always happened in boxing just look at any of the past boxers and you'll see bums listed in between the big fights. HBO dont have a television slot for him until the summer so this is just a risk free workout.
