the reason Fat Dan gets credit for a lot of "breaking" crap is because he is supposedly the go to person because of who he works for but in reality guys like Reeno and Kim will actually work on their leads until they get all the facts not handed to them like Fat Dan does

Reeno has his ear to the ground on several things and people like Songailia, Donovan, and Ondrizek know a lot of local scene things. But Rick doesn't put the "you heard it here first" moniker on his post and Rafael is the biggest name in boxing reporting. So Dan gets a lot of insider info based on his ESPN status, but outside of ESPN, Boxingscene is the home of the most up to date boxing news. And of course I feel that this site has the best writing on the web.
