I do think anyone was surprised at the result. Other than maybe cheerleader Hearn and a few delusional Brits. Looks like beterbiev vs Bivol is finally a go. Should be a good one.

bivol talking sense to me actually, he recognises this is his biggest test so far and is realistic its going to be a tough challenge but hopes his skills will see him over the line on the night, nothing wrong with that

That was a good fight. Don't know why Gvodzyk retired after that to come back years later. He got demoralized by that loss.

I’ll show boxing is not just power
              He’ll have power and speed
Complimenting Artur for doing things well and that he’s not just a mauler but a good boxer

Just the first part sounds like he’s doubting himself

Boxing is about skills, not about power. Beterbiev is great, but not good enough to beat Bivol.

                  He don’t sound so sure
Not the first interview where he sounds not so sure to win or like a winner

You guys keep talking about power. He doesn't get anyone out with one punch. You really can't classify him as a pure uncalculating pressure fighter like Angulo, Benavidez, Gilberto or Kirkland. There are some similarities to GGGimmick minus the immick. He sets his offense off of a jab which he presents in two forms, a flicking jab to probe the guard or the side-fisted jab he penetrates the guard with. He can jab with either hand and finish with a hook left or right hand which makes me think he is ambidextrous. Also, his lead foot pointed at the opponent so his footwork is always on point.

This is nothing more than Crawford/Spence 2.0. The 5 years didn't help Spence. Will it help Bivol?

We notice when one team tries to age out a fighter but we don't see it with the other team we like.

I saw Bivol manager in 2019 say, we don't need to fight this fight now.

Thats true but does he have enough to keep AB off him that's the trick question, I agree with him when he says ABs skills are underrated because of his power.
