What an absolute garbage co main. PBC better put together some good cards if they want Prime to give more than 15 dates.

The last time Lara fought, humans were making fire rubbing 2 sticks together. The last time Thurman fought humans were using beepers. Never even heard of this Zerafa dude. Way to start your first Amazon show with a whimper Uncle Al. Somebody please tell me Tszyu can’t beat Lara, Thurman, and Zerafa on the same night. 3 rounds each for Lara and Thurman, and a minute for Zerafa. Is Jeff expecting new Prime customers signing up for this sheet?

As many on here, I'm SHOCKED that: 1) Tszyu vs Thurman was a throw away line in this article and that it wasn't an article on it's own (I then found the announcement on ESPN's site) and 2) Tszyu is fighting Thurman period.

As y'all probably know, I'm a fan of Keith (not a fan of his inactivity) and I was looking forward to him vs Stanionis. They've both been out of the ring a while, probably a winnable fight for Keith if he's in form, etc. But against Tim, I think this is a big mistake. Dude has confidence in himself, I guess, but I think Keith is gonna get stomped. And I'd MUCH rather see Bud vs Tim. I suspect Spence is holding Crawford up. Seems like he would have been offered that fight first.

He's the former male stripper that Peter Quillin stopped about 10 years ago. Was a huge joke opponent when Kell Brook fought him during his comeback.

Here's what Thurman is thinking: the extra weight will increase his aging body's punch resistance, he'll be able to out-manuever Tszyu because Tim isn't fleet-footed...and most importantly, beating Tim will make him a titlist and put him in line for another big fight (i.e. Crawford). This is a calculated risk, and I'm hoping Tszyu makes him regret it. Beating Stanionis is also a tall task, and it would only set Thurman up to be a stepping stone for Ennis.

After letting it sink into my brain for a little bit, I have some other thoughts as well. In addition to what you said about the weight, with his age and inactivity he probably just can't make 147 anymore. And if he wants to finally get shots at Spence or Crawford he knows it's gonna have to be at 154 regardless. And a belt makes that more likely. And, to your point, beating Stanionis would set up an eventual showdown with Ennis, which Keith would have a better shot at beating Spence or Crawford at 154 than Ennis at 147. For the record, I think Crawford beats Ennis handily at 147 or 154, but I don't think Thurman can make 147 comfortably anymore so fighting guys closer to his age at 154 makes more sense.

As for "calculated risk", it's a HUGE risk for sure. Maybe calculated too, but I wonder if Haymon has Thurman in a "this is the fight you can have, take it or leave it" situation. To beat Tim would be amazing for Keith, but man that's a BIG ask.

As for the fleetness of foot advantage, yeah, Keith definitely has that. But, how long will that work out? Makes me think of Benavidez vs Andrade.

This card is basically the same thing they tried to roll out as the final PPV card for Showtime in December, just swapping out Tszyu for Stanionis and Zerafa for Danny Garcia.

Rolly Romero vs Isaac Cruz just got finalised for this card also, not too shabby

This show is great for insomniacs. I think Tszyu can beat Lara, Thurman, and whoever this Zerafa dude is on the same night. That would be a better card which would last about 3 rounds each at best.

How much did Zerafa’s handlers pay the WBA to have him as mandatory? This card is a joke. Jeff, this is what you signed up for with Uncle Al? Looks like Amazon already has one foot in the HBO/ Showtime cemetery.
